Ingredients

  • 200 g mozzarella, grated
  • 60 g cream cheese
  • 170 g almond flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Method

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a tray.

    Melt the mozzarella and cream cheese together until smooth.

    Mix the almond flour and baking powder, then work into the cheese with one egg to form a dough.

    Divide into six, roll each into a rope and pinch into a ring.

    Brush with the remaining beaten egg, scatter with sesame seeds, and bake for 16–18 minutes until golden.

    Cool on a rack before splitting and toasting.
